Once you’re logged in to Pear Start, select the Tools tab in the navigation bar, then select whichever tool you want to try out. There are over 40 AI-powered tools to explore that lighten your prep and day-to-day tasks.

From planning to delivery
Here’s how Pear Start’s tools help you move seamlessly from planning to live instruction — no copying and pasting, no extra tabs.
Turn content into lesson packages
Generate lessons in Pear Start, then create classroom-ready materials with the transform button to convert your Pear Start content into one or more of our Pear Deck Learning apps: Pear Deck, Pear Practice, or Pear Assessment.
Practice with options
Use the Multiple Choice Assessment tool to generate an assessment for your classroom, then create differentiated practice materials for whole-class collaboration or homework.
Plan projects
The Student Project Creator tool enables you to generate a plan for a classroom project and create the necessary learning materials for classroom-ready instruction.
Create a worksheet
Use the Worksheet tool to generate a student worksheet aligned to any grade level, standard, or topic, and then edit it to meet your specific needs. Then, use the transform button to turn that lesson into a ready-to-use practice set in Pear Practice.
Add questions to YouTube videos
Generate up to 10 assignment questions from a YouTube video transcript with the YouTube Video Questions tool. After selecting a grade level and preferred format, the tool automatically structures and generates questions based on the transcript.
Export math formulas
Generate math class materials and export them to Google Docs in LaTeX or Plain Text format. LaTeX ensures proper formatting of complex math equations, while Plain Text provides a basic character format for broader compatibility.
Save your favorite content for later
As you use the various tools in Pear Start to generate and customize content for your classroom, each output is automatically logged in your History tab. You can save any of these outputs, and they will appear in your Materials tab, so you can quickly find and use the content you prefer as many times as you’d like, on their own or as inputs to create instant lesson packages from anywhere in Pear Deck Learning.
