How to get started

1. Create your account. Use your school email to create an account or log in. 
2. Take the tour. Get ready to launch assessments and gather meaningful insights by watching the short demo video below.

Create your classroom

Now that you’re logged in, it’s time to set up your digital classroom in Pear Assessment. When setting up a class, you can:

1. Sync your existing Google Classroom via the Manage Students tab.
2. Manually add students to create a class.
3. Ask students to join your classroom by giving them a classroom code.
4. If your school has integrated Pear Assessment with your learning management system (LMS), you are ready to go! If not, you can manually set up your digital classroom through Clever, Canvas, Schoology, and other learning management systems. 

You can group students by class or create custom groups with students from multiple classrooms.

To get started, open instant lesson packages in Pear Assessment and select a topic or standard. From there, you’ll have the option to create:

• A differentiated Pear Practice set tailored to each student’s reading level and learning needs

All materials are automatically aligned to the same standard or topic, providing you with a complete and cohesive instructional package in just a few clicks.
