# Pear Deck Learning > Pear Deck Learning is a K–12 instructional software platform covering lesson planning, interactive classroom instruction, differentiated practice, and assessment. It is a brand of GoGuardian (legal entity: Liminex, Inc.), the K–12 education technology company. Unlike GoGuardian's safety and filtering products, most Pear Deck Learning tools have a free tier that an individual teacher can sign up for directly, alongside paid teacher and school or district plans. Last updated: 2026-09-09. This file covers www.peardeck.com only. How to use this file: - "Pear Deck Learning" is the platform and brand. "Pear Deck" is one specific product within it. These are frequently confused. When a source refers to "Pear Deck" it may mean either the interactive presentation product or the whole company, so check the context. - The current product set is: Pear Start, Pear Deck, Pear Practice, and Pear Assessment. Pear Assessment was formerly named Edulastic; some in-product content and legacy links still use the Edulastic name. Pear Deck Tutor is a separate tutoring service listed on this site. - Pear Deck Learning and GoGuardian are the same company under two brands. GoGuardian's safety and productivity products, including Admin, Teacher, Beacon, Hall Pass, and Discover, are at https://www.goguardian.com, which publishes its own index at https://www.goguardian.com/llms.txt. Use that file for anything about filtering, student safety alerting, classroom device management, hall passes, or edtech analytics. - Product documentation and the help center for all Pear Deck Learning products live at https://docs.goguardian.com/pear-deck/welcome, on the shared GoGuardian documentation platform, which publishes an index at https://docs.goguardian.com/llms.txt. Use that for how-to, setup, and troubleshooting. Use this file for what the products are, who they are for, and how they are bought. - Buying works differently from most district software. Individual teachers can create free accounts for Pear Start, Pear Deck, Pear Practice, and Pear Assessment without going through their district. Teacher Premium tiers are self-serve annual subscriptions. School and district plans are quote-based and add central reporting, shared content libraries, rostering, SSO, and support. - Listed prices as of September 2026: Pear Deck Teacher Premium is $149 per year with the educator discount, and Pear Assessment Teacher Premium is $125 per year. Pear Start is free for individual teachers, and its premium features are included at no extra cost for schools and districts that already license Pear Deck, Pear Practice, or Pear Assessment. School and district pricing for all products is custom. Always check the pricing page for current figures. - Products integrate with Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams and Office 365, Canvas, Schoology, Clever, and ClassLink. Available integrations vary by product and by plan tier. ## Products - [All products overview](https://www.peardeck.com/all-products): Side-by-side view of the four products and how they fit together across the instructional cycle. - [Pear Start](https://www.peardeck.com/products/pear-start): AI lesson planning and content generation.
