As an Human Resource Manager and Recruiter, you’ll be reporting to the Chief Educator and working to perpetuate a joyful culture through sourcing great candidates, developing onboarding processes that helps new people feel welcomed and settled, and nurturing that culture throughout the company.
Recruit candidates for a new positions
Manage the screening process
Coordinate on-site interviews
Onboard a new employee
Coordinate onboarding schedules and meetings to help a new team member feel welcomed and settled
Conduct 30, 60, 90 day check-ins
Develop and maintain HR processes
Keep employee handbook up to date
Standardize Professional development pathways and salaries
Ensure that we are compliant with labor laws
Own benefit selection process and be a liaison between Justworks and company
Be a conduit for communication between departments and managerial levels regarding policy, salary, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Experience and training in an HR/Recruiting role
Proficient with GSuite applications, particularly Sheets (or Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organizational skills and attention to detail
High level of accountability
Joyful and flexible
College degree or equivalent experience
High level of empathy and enjoy working with individuals create a joyful culture
