YPG + Soundtrap: Sounds Introduction

Pear Deck has partnered with Young Producers Group and Soundtrap for Education to help teachers empower students through music production. By exploring creative sound making, students build essential media literacy skills, collaborative abilities, and the confidence they need to become productive members of society. The YPG + Soundtrap + Pear Deck party starts with a celebration of sound! The YPG “Sounds” Key Concept Video trains students to listen like a music producer, breaking down different sounds into high, low, and mid categories. Students will learn the names of a bunch of instruments, but more importantly, they’ll learn how to use their ears and minds together to translate sound into words.
