Closing Routine: Exit Cards
As we return to school this year, Pear Deck has partnered with Facing History and Ourselves to help build community and trust within classrooms, both physical and virtual. With these quick, interactive routines—designed to take five to ten minutes each—educators can foster a sense of belonging and prioritize social-emotional learning every day.
This routine provides an opportunity for students to share how they are feeling, reflect on their performance in class, communicate their needs, and set academic and personal goals. Following up one-on-one with a phone call, video conference, email, or text will foster trust and help students who are struggling academically or emotionally to feel heard and valued.
