How to edit Canva Slides for Pear Deck

(Make sure to install the Pear Deck for Google Slides Add-on or PowerPoint Online Add-in first!)

If you’d like to edit the Canva slides instead of using the premade Pear Deck versions, you can do that one of two ways. For slides that look exactly how you envision them, use method 1 (the PNG method). This will preserve the design just the way it looked in Canva, but won’t be editable later. For greater flexibility in your decks, use method 2 (the PowerPoint method). Some fonts or other elements may change during the conversion, but you’ll be able to edit text and other elements in your Pear Deck lesson later.

1

  • Upload each PNG file into Google Slides or PowerPoint Online.
